Whitemud Equine Centre

Welcome to the Whitemud Equine Learning Centre

The Whitemud Equine Learning Centre Association (WELCA) is a non-profit organization located in Edmonton's River Valley, east of Fort Edmonton Park, the John Janzen Nature Centre, Whitemud Park and, adjacent to Keillor Road.

Although the land has been owned by the City of Edmonton since the early 1970's, WELCA is responsible for staffing, operating and maintaining this unique community facility.

Capital Fundraising Campaign

WELCA is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. The Board is embarking on a major redevelopment of the facilities which will enable the Whitemud Equine Learning Centre to meet the growing demand for equine education, training and events.
